A narrow set of advisory work, in the areas backed by direct operational experience rather than a general offer.

Engagements

Four areas

Each corresponds to work actually done since 2013 — not a service added to round out a list.
  • Operations & Administration

Reviewing how administration actually runs — procurement cycles, document control, approvals, project coordination — and rebuilding the parts that create delay.

    Deliverables

    • Mapped administrative and procurement processes
    • Document and approval workflows
    • Project coordination structures
  • HR & Workforce Systems

Setting up the HR function a growing operation needs: policies, workforce planning, recruitment process, and compliance with local labour law.

    Deliverables

    • Company policies and employee handbook
    • Workforce plans and role structures
    • Recruitment and onboarding process
  • Market Entry & Business Development

Support for companies establishing or expanding in Iraq and the Gulf — branch registration, local requirements, partner identification and commercial groundwork.

    Deliverables

    • Entry requirements and registration pathway
    • Partner and counterpart identification
    • Commercial positioning for the market
  • Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

Moving paper-based administration onto systems that people will actually use, and applying automation and AI where they remove work rather than add a new thing to maintain.

    Deliverables

    • Current-state process review
    • Business systems selection and rollout
    • Automation of repetitive administrative work

Scope

Commercial and regulatory work only. An LL.B. is in progress, not completed — this is not legal practice, and nothing here constitutes legal advice or representation.

How it works

How an engagement runs

No hourly rates, no packages. Scope and cost are agreed in writing before any work starts.
  1. Conversation

A call to understand the situation and establish whether this is work I am the right person for. No obligation on either side.

  2. Scope

A written scope: what will be examined, what will be delivered, over what period, and what it costs. Agreed before anything starts.

  3. Work

On site where the work requires it, remote where it does not. Regular written updates rather than a single report at the end.

  4. Handover

Documentation the team can use without me. The measure of the work is whether it holds after the engagement ends.
